Insteel produces drawn wire straightened and cut to length to serve as supplemental reinforcement or for other applications. Straightened and cut wire is often used with engineered structural mesh sheets to facilitate constructability when multiple sheets are assembled together.

Insteel manufactures a broad range of single deformed and plain, stress-relieved small diameter wire conforming to ASTM A1064 for specialty prestressing applications, including prestressed concrete railroad ties (conforming to ASTM A881), prestressed concrete tank wrapping and supporting material for welded wire reinforcement in prestressed concrete products (i.e. to support double tee flange mesh).
